2. General Information

TachoMobile 2 is a driver assistant application designed to help users monitor driving time, work activities, breaks, availability periods, and other transport-related information.

The App is intended for professional and personal use related to driver activity tracking and time management.

3. Information Collected

• Location data, including background location access, used for automatic activity detection and optionally stored as part of user activity records;
• Motion and activity recognition data;
• Driver activity records and user-generated operational data entered or generated within the App;
• Cloud synchronization metadata required to provide backup and restore functionality;
• User account identifiers used for authentication and synchronization through Firebase Authentication;
• Application diagnostics, crash reports, and technical information;
• Usage analytics and technical information;
• Purchase and subscription status information provided by Google Play Billing.

4. How Information Is Used

• Automatic driving detection;
• Driving and rest time calculations;
• Generating driver activity reports;
• Providing activity timeline functionality;
• Synchronizing and restoring user data across devices when cloud synchronization is enabled;
• Providing backup functionality;

The App does not sell personal information to third parties.

5. Local and Cloud Data Storage

Most application data is stored locally on the user's device.

If the user voluntarily enables cloud synchronization and backup functionality, selected application data may also be securely stored using Google Firebase services, including Firebase Firestore.

Cloud synchronization is optional and may be enabled or disabled by the user at any time.

6. Encryption

Cloud backups and exported files may be protected using password-based encryption provided by the user.

Encryption is designed to help protect synchronized and exported data against unauthorized access.

Users are solely responsible for maintaining and safeguarding their encryption passwords.

If an encryption password is lost, encrypted backups and exported files may become permanently inaccessible.

7. Location Information

TachoMobile 2 may collect location information to support automatic driving detection and activity-related functionality.

8. Exported Reports

The App allows users to generate and export PDF reports. These reports are created locally on the user's device and remain under the user's control.

10. Data Retention

Most user-generated data remains stored locally on the user's device until deleted by the user.

Users may permanently delete synchronized cloud data directly from within the App using the cloud backup deletion functionality.

Users may also request deletion of externally processed data by contacting the developer.

Deletion requests will be processed within a reasonable period and may require verification of account ownership where appropriate.

12. GDPR / EU Users

Users located within the European Union may have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and information regarding processing of their personal data.
